Right in the middle of the village, beside the church in Dun Geagan and in walking distance of the Community Centre, the School, Kilrealig Gallery and a number of holiday houses "Tig Rosie" has been the village pub for more than a hundred years.
It has not changed its service to the community only the name changed over the generations and some locals still refer to it as "Sigerson´s", that was the name when Rosie´s mother and father had the pub and an adjoining shop with it.
Locals and visitors always get a warm welcome and a lovely pint of Porter, that is Guiness, or any other drink and some homemade soup and sandwiches.
During the summer and over holiday weekends there is traditional Irish music and locals and visitors will dance a set or folks just gather with their instruments and have a music and singing session.
Rosie and John Joe support local activities like Gaelic football, Drag Hunting, Regattas and Darts Tournaments.
There are regular exhibitions in the pub, with local and international artists showing and selling their work.
One visitor really liked his stay in Ballinskelligs and our pub so much he put this on the web...
